"I was brought up in, and absolutely love the bluegrass school of music. Earl Scruggs, J.D. Crowe, Sonny Osborne, and Don Reno were my guiding lights to learning the craft. Later I got hip to players like Bela Fleck and began stretching my boundaries.
Although I love bluegrass immensely, I always had an ear and pull toward world music styles. Since 2016, I have been to China, India, Brazil, Peru, and Mexico, making albums and documentaries in each country. My banjo playing has been influenced in beautiful ways by these journey. And now I want to share it all with you to accelerate your banjo adventure!"
